Vincenzo is going to be confirmed and will also be taking his first communion this evening – I’ll be there for the big event, but he also stopped by the studio for some formal portraits. I don’t think I’ve ever met a person more excited to be receiving communion and confirmation – he had the biggest smile I’ve ever seen! I’m sure that his family is very proud of him and I want to send him a big congratulations as well.
Her first one. I suppose that means the Tooth Fairy had better get ready.
Baby K was just a tiny little newborn the last time I saw him. Now he’s grown and he’s smiling and holding his head up pretty well. He was such a sweetheart, so cooperative the whole time.
And she’s excited about it! She’s going to have a little sister and I’m sure they will both be the cutest little girls ever. Being a big sister is a lot of responsibility, but also a lot of fun. I’m sure she’s up to it, she’s got plenty of energy.
We’re visiting the grandparents for the holiday and Grace was busy building a gingerbread house. Of course, that means she was also busy EATING the gingerbread house! Here she is with her masterpiece.
Of course we’ve opened our gifts now and everyone is busy playing around. Grandpa got an iPod, Marie got a new Nintendo DS game, Grace got some new hair flowers. But the most fun gift of all was the two-pack of Snuggie knock-offs I bought from Amazon. When I saw the picture of them I thought they would make an awesome gift for my parents – and so versatile! Of course they can be used for the intended purpose of keeping warm, but they can also be used for dressing up as a Jedi Knight or a monk.
